12 strength, 15 dexterity, 12 intellect, 10 faith
Pick one and go to 60 or pick two and go to 40:

Note: For a basic build, don't pick arcane.

We're largely splitting hairs between the astrologer and prisoner at the beginning of the game. The prisoner's two extra dexterity offers a more diverse range of weapons (the uchigatana is recommended here, which requires 15 dex)
