Stardew Valley

Inspired by the Harvest Moon series, Stardew Valley is a highly addicticting, indie farming simulation/role playing game. After inhereiting your grandfather's rundown farm and burning out of your job, the player decides to move out to Stardew Valley to seek a simpler life. Boulders, trees, and weeds must be removed from the field before planting crops or building coops and barns. In additional to the traditional farm jobs, there's also areas to fish, mine, and forage.

Unlike the Harvest Moon series, Stardew Valley features a combat system that's a cross between Runescape and Minecraft and there are plans to add multiplayer to the game at some point.
