Should I plant my Ancient Seeds outside?

The general rule of thumb is if you can get 2 harvests out of the crop (and you're able to protect it), you should plant it as soon as you can.

After donating your first Ancient Seed to the Museum, you'll get plantable Ancient Seeds that take 28 days to grow to maturity then produce fruit fruit every 7 days. A more complicated thought process is the following:

Why should I have two harvests from the crop before winter? You should be throwing your Ancient Fruit into the Seed Maker instead of trying to sell them and with a 2% chance for failure (as in, producing Mixed Seeds), I'm fairly comfortable with the 1% chance that both fruits turn into Mixed Seeds... and frankly if that happens, I'd restart the day.
